J. W. Calvary

J. W. Calvary passed away Friday, March 2, 2012 at his home in Oakland , TN at the age of 79. Mr. Calvary was born October 8, 1932 in Mississippi to the late Pinkey Lambert and the late Reed Calvary. He owned an electronic business and a bush hogging business. He was a member of Lakewood Baptist Church in Oakland, TN. He loved to fish and entertain, for years he held an annual fish fry. He had a passion for his work, no one else was better in his profession. After retiring from the electronic business he started a bush hogging business with the same passion as he had for electronics. He loved it. He is survived by his wife of 60 years: Reva Hatchcoat Calvary – Oakland, TN 2 Sons: Larry Calvary and wife Sandra – Bartlett, TN; Jerry Calvary and wife Kim – Greenfield, TN 2 Daughters: Sandra Raines – Summerville, TN; Lisa Parsons and husband Mitch – Ashland, Kentucky 17 Grandchildren 22 Great Grandchildren Brother: Jimmy Calvary and wife Shelia – Booneville, MS Sister: Ollie Ludlow and husband Charles- Oakland, TN Several Nieces, Nephews, Other relatives and a host of friends He was preceded in death by his Daughters: Judy Stewart, Cheryl Hundley Granddaughter: Tarena Marie Reed Great Grandson: D.
