A graveside service for Jackie Nash, 68 of Rienzi, MS will be held at 10 AM Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery. Brandon Palmer will officiate the service. Jackie was born on November 13, 1957, in Booneville, MS, and passed away on August 1, 2026, in Tupelo, Mississippi.

A gifted craftsman, Jackie had an extraordinary talent for working with both wood and stone. With remarkable skill and patience, he transformed ordinary pieces of wood and rock into beautiful works of art, including crosses he lovingly carved from stone. His hands created lasting treasures, but the most meaningful were the special keepsakes he crafted for his beloved wife Teresa, a reflection of the deep love and devotion they shared.

When he wasn't creating, Jackie treasured the companionship of his faithful dogs, who were never far from his side. He found happiness in life's simple pleasures—being outdoors, working with his hands, and spending time with those he loved most.

He will be remembered for his quiet strength, generous heart, artistic talent, and unwavering love for his family. His legacy lives on in every handcrafted treasure he leaves behind, in the natural places he loved, and in the countless memories shared with those fortunate enough to know him. Though he will be deeply missed, the love he gave and the beauty he created will continue to inspire and comfort all who loved him.

Those left to honor Jackie’s memory include his wife of 35 years, Teresa Nash; daughter, Jessica; aunts, Maxi Thomason (Don) and Martha Hall (Carl); special great nieces, Abby, Allison, Anna, and Avery; other relatives and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Billy and Doris Nash; and his sister, Kathy Nash. Magnolia Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Jackie Nash.
