A Celebration of life for James "Jim" Rogers, 85, of Corinth are set for 2:00 PM Thursday, December 4, 2025, at Magnolia Funeral Home - South with interment in Magnolia Gardens. Visitation will be Thursday, December 4, 2025 from 12:00 PM until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home - South, located at 741 Hwy US-45, Corinth, MS, 38834. Jim Blaylock will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Austin Bassett, Ethan Bassett, Skyler Rogers, Ryan Rogers, Timothy Roach, and Matthew Childers.

James "Jim" Rogers, born on January 3, 1940, in Canton, Mississippi, passed away on December 1, 2025. He was a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother, whose life exemplified dedication to family, faith, and country. Jim proudly served his country in the Navy, Air Force, and National Guard, a testament to his commitment and love for his country. His quiet demeanor represented a steadfast spirit; he was a man of few words but profound actions. Those who knew him would agree that he truly exemplified how to live life with integrity, love, and obedience. Jim had a great passion for fishing, a hobby that allowed him to connect with nature and enjoy peaceful moments away from the hustle of daily life.

He is survived by his son, Tyler Rogers; daughters Kay White (Jimmy), Theresa Thornton, and Amy Lancaster (Tate); grandchildren James Skyler Rogers, Lillie Alonna Rogers, Ryan Chase Rogers, Matthew Childers, Tatum Lancaster, Timothy Leo Roach (Lora), Ashley Hopple (David), and Brooke Bassett; and great-grandchildren Harlie Grace Roach, Cadin Roach, Chloe Roach, Dave Roach, Hunter Roach, Austin Bassett, and Ethan Bassett. He is also survived by his sister Sue Tapp (Frankie), as well as his faithful dog, Coco Rogers.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, James "Bill" and Virginia Rogers; his first wife, Tommie Lee Rogers; his second wife, Connie Elizabeth Rogers; his grandchild, Jimmy Lee Roach; his sons-in-law, Steven Holley and Max Thornton; and his sister, Mary Letitia Rogers.

James "Jim" Rogers leaves behind cherished memories and an enduring legacy of love for his family, a devotion to his faith, and a proud service to his country. He will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege to know him.
