James Lee Patey

Funeral services with Military Honors for James Lee Patey, 76 of Corinth are set for 2pm on Saturday, November 15, 2025 at Magnolia Funeral Home - East Chapel. Visitation will be Saturday, November 15, 2025 from 12pn-2pm at Magnolia Funeral Home - East Chapel. Bro. Chester Harrison will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Seth Stephenson, Charles Harrington, Michael Gilmore, Steve "Flipflop" Wallace, Terrell Hudson and Hansford Huff. Born September 23, 1949 in Memphis, TN. Mr. Patey passed from this life on November 12, 2025 at MS Care Center in Corinth. Jimmy loved his family and was a proud grandfather. He enjoyed watching NCIS with his granddaughter, reading, studying his bible, riding his Harley, driving, eating pecans and telling his granddaughters random facts about different things.  Jimmy was a retired truck driver and a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church. He is a U.S Arny veteran of the Vietnam war where he received the following medals, The Purple Heart, National Defense Service Medal, Sharpshooter Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with 2 Bronze Stars and the Vietnam Campaign Medal with 1960 Device. Jimmy was survived by his daughters, Hannah Simpson (Jason) and Heather Price (Scott); 3 grandchildren, Haley Price (Seth Stephenson), Shiloh Price and Alice Simpson; mother of his children, Susan Dawn Patey; other relatives and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by father, James Walker Patey and mother, Lottie Mae Patey. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mr. James "Jimmy" Lee Patey.
