Jane Starnes

Funeral services for Jane Starnes, 74, of Glen are set for Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at 2pm at Magnolia Funeral Home – EAST with interment in Liberty Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Seth Kirkland will officiate the service. Visitation will be Monday, December 13, 2021 from 5pm-8pm and Tuesday, December 14, 2021 from 1pm until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home –EAST. Serving as Pallbearers will be Will Odom, Jeramie Roach, Todd Roach, Kirby Milligan, Haze Milligan, Coley Thompson, Chris Spencer, Alex Barnett and Clay Barnett. Honorary pallbearers will be the Deacons of Liberty Hill Baptist Church, Scotty Little, Chuck Clement and Bro. James Hardin. Born December 30, 1946 in Amite, LA., Jane passed away on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth. She retired from ITT as a line operator with 30 years of service. Jane loved her family and friends and enjoyed reading, quilting, baby sitting, cooking and watching her birds and deer in the yard. She was a Sunday School teacher at church for many years and most recently the church clerk. Jane is survived by her husband of 56 years, Neal Starnes; daughter, Robin Shelton; 3 grandchildren, Ashley Dilworth, Joshua Dilworth and Kirby Milligan; one great grandchild, Haze Milligan; brothers, Danny Roach (Janet) and Lanny Roach (Nayoka); sisters, Nellie Massengill (Ben), Rhonda White (Travis) and Karen Odom (Mike); numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Charles Edward Roach and mother, Vera Kilcrease Roach. Magnolia Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Jane Starnes.
