Jannice B. Shadburn

Funeral services for Jannice B. Shadburn, 79, of Iuka, MS are set for Friday, October 22, 2021 at 11:00am at Magnolia Funeral Home – East Chapel with interment in Magnolia Gardens. Visitation will be Thursday, October 21, 2021 from 5:00pm-8:00pm at Magnolia Funeral Home – East Chapel. Bro. Mickey Trammel and Bartley Nethery will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Blake Nethery, Chris Nethery, Hunter Pounders, Colton Knight, Ronnie Crawford and Danny Bostick. Born November 7, 1941 in Holcut, MS, Jannice passed away on Sunday, October 17, 2021 at Tishomingo Manor in Iuka. She was a retired AG. Clerk for the Alcorn County Branch of the ASCS and a member of Tate Baptist Church. Jannice loved her family and was lovingly called “Nana” by all her grandchildren. She enjoyed crocheting, cooking, doing jigsaw and crossword puzzles, activities with her Sunday school class, and traveling. Those left to honor her memory include her daughters, Nan Shadburn Nethery and husband Ladron, and Dana Shadburn Murphy and husband Scott; grandchildren, Bartley Nethery and wife Brittany, Blake Nethery, Bayleigh Pounders and husband Hunter, Katie Knight and husband Colton, and Chris Murphy and wife Hannah; great-grandchildren, Calvin Nethery and Kaden Pounders; other relatives and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Shadburn and her parents, Cleston Ward and Mary Byram. Magnolia Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Jannice Byram Shadburn.
