Jason Powers

A Celebration of Life Service for Jason Powers, 51, of Corinth, Ms, will be Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at 2:00 P M at Magnolia Funeral Home – East Chapel with interment to follow in Grissom Chapel Cemetery. Bro. Darrell Stafford and Bro. Gary Isbell will officiate the service. Visitation will be Monday, May 4, 2026, from 5:00 P M to 8:00 P M and Tuesday, May 5, 2026, from 1:00 P M until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home – East. Mr. Powers passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at Magnolia Regional Health Center. He was born December 10, 1974, in Burnsville, MS to Billy Joe Powers and Mary Faye Hill Powers. He was a fork lift operator for Mission Forest and a member of New Life Church. He loved playing music, spending time with his family and playing with his grandchildren. Jason is survived by his wife of 32 years, Melissa Powers; his son, Jeremy Powers (Briley); 2 grandchildren, Layton Powers and Lynlee Powers; his father, Billy Joe Powers; his sisters, Darlene Davis (Josh), Jennifer Johnson (John), Kimberly Johnson and Cindi Garland (Jeff); numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Faye Powers and his brother, Joey Powers. Pallbearers will be Michael Nelson, Kelly South, Jake Whitehead, Aron Richardson, Jason Smith and Christian Thompson. Honorary pallbearers will be Cooper Howell, Tyler Barnes and Levi Thomas. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mr. Jason Powers.
