Joe Adren Glidewell

A private family graveside service will be held for Joe Glidewell, 76 of Burnsville. Mr. Glidewell passed away on Monday, April 20, 2020 at Tishomingo Living Center in Iuka. Born January 13, 1944 in Ripley, MS, Joe was a retired maintenance supervisor for MDOT in Tishomingo county. He was a member to Temple Baptist Church. Joe loved his family and friends and enjoyed doing mechanic and body work on his antique cars and traveling to numerous places going to flea markets with his wife. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Joyce Sanders Glidewell of Burnsville; brother, Gerald Glidewell and wife Barbara of Burnsville; sisters-in-law, Hester Medley and husband Dale of Iuka, Linda Sanders and husband Jimmy of Corinth, Carol Hudson and husband Danny of Iuka and Becky Waddell and husband Clay of Cherokee, AL; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. Joe is preceded in death by his father, Georgie Glidewell; mother, Bertie Mae Calvery Glidewell and brother-in-law, James Sanders.
