A Celebration of Life service for Johnnie Woodruff, 79 of Corinth, MS, will be Thursday, April 15, 2021 at 11:00 A M at Magnolia Funeral Home –East Chapel with interment to follow at John’s Cemetery. Bro. James Voyles and Bro. Rabon Richardson will officiate the service. Visitation will be Thursday, April 15, 2021 from 10:00 A M until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home – East. Mr. Woodruff passed away Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at his residence. He was born December 19, 1941 in Glen, MS to Homer Ray Woodruff and Pearline Spires Woodruff. He was the owner of Woodruff’s Garage and a member of Antioch Primitive Baptist Church. Johnnie is survived by his wife of 32 years, Bernice Rippie Woodruff of Corinth, MS; his sons, Jonathan Woodruff and wife Mary of Corinth, MS, Jimmy Ray Burcham and wife Michelle of Corinth, MS and Arnie Burcham and wife Cheryl of Rienzi, MS; his daughter, Deborah Moody of Rienzi, MS; five grandchildren, Nisa King (Justin), Lisa Gahagan (Anthony), Lane Burcham, Ross Burcham and Blythe Burcham; two great-grandchildren, Joshua Gahagan and Luke Gahagan; great-great-grandson, Johnnie Ray Gahagan; sister, Martha Powers of South Carolina; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Homer Ray Woodruff; his mother, Pearline Spires Woodruff and his sister, Shirley English. Pallbearers will be Arnie Burcham, Jimmy Burcham, John Woodruff, Joshua Gahagan, Luke Gahagan, Anthony Zalenski and Cody Chase. Honorary pallbearers will be George Bonds, Jimmy Whitfield and Lamar Bolton.
