Johnny Dale Knight

Johnny Dale Knight, a beloved resident of Corinth, Mississippi, passed away on May 28, 2026, at the age of 54. Born on November 4, 1971, in Booneville, MS, Johnny was a man whose warm heart and spirited humor left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Johnny dedicated much of his working life as a delivery driver for O'Reilly Auto Parts, where his dependable nature and friendly demeanor made him a valued member of the team. Beyond his career, Johnny was well known as a jokester, always quick with a laugh or a kind word. He was truly the embodiment of "never met a stranger," reaching out warmly to all he encountered.

His passions were many and reflected his zest for life. He loved riding his motorcycle, proudly holding membership with the Iron Warriors Misfits Chapter. Wrestling and football were among his favored sports, which he enjoyed watching with enthusiasm. Most treasured, however, were the times spent caring for and cherishing his wife and their beloved fur companions.

Johnny’s loving family was central to his world. He shared 27 wonderful years with his devoted wife, Anecia Knight, who survives him. He is also deeply mourned by his sister, Donna Johnson; his cherished fur babies, Little Dude and Ellie; as well as several nieces, nephews, and a wide circle of other relatives and friends who held him dear. Johnny was preceded in death by his father, Ernest Knight; his mother, Gertrude Knight; and his brother, Tommy Knight.

The community and all who knew Johnny are invited to celebrate his life and legacy at Magnolia Funeral Home - East, located at 2024 Hwy 72 East Annex in Corinth, MS. Visitation will be held on June 1, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and will continue on June 2, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service will follow on June 2 at 2:00 PM. Interment will be in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Briar Yarbrough, James Wilkins, Terry Carter, Johnny McAnally, Jeremy Haney, Logan Crotts, Dacre Wilson and Brent Carroll. Honorary pallbearers will be Rick Smith, Earl Sprading, Brian Rickman and Larry Jones. 

Johnny Dale Knight’s life was one of warmth, joy, and heartfelt connections. His memory will forever endure in the hearts of those he touched, a testament to a man who lived fully, loved deeply, and laughed often. He will be profoundly missed but never forgotten.
