Funeral services for Jonnie Bobo, 98 of Iuka, MS are set for 2pm Friday, September 25, 2026 at Oakland Baptist Church with interment in New Lebanon Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, September 24, 2026 from 5pm-8pm at Magnolia Funeral Home - East and Friday, September 25, 2026 from 1pm-2pm at Oakland Baptist Church. Dr. Randy Bostick will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Tim Strickland, Stevie Strickland, John Strickland, Terry Strickland, Tommy Ray Strickland and Richard Berryman. Honorary pallbearers will be Robert White, Caden Mynatt and her other nephews.

Born November 10, 1927 in Paden, MS., Mrs. Bobo entered into the gates of heaven on September 21, 2026 in Iuka, MS. She was a retired factory worker at Garan's for many years. She also worked various other jobs such as selling Avon and working in her church cafeteria at the desert bar for many years. Jonnie was a devoted member of Oakland Baptist Church, which held a special place in her heart. She enjoyed traveling with her church and Avon and quilting for her family. She loved her family and spending time with them was always a top priority for her.  Jonnie is survived her daughter, Heber "Hebie" Williams (Truman); son, Howell Trent Bobo (Cheryl); son-in-law, David Woodruff; 5 grandchildren, Tina Harvey, Natalie Hardwick (Jeremy), Stephanie Williams, Crissy Cott and Melissa Kwavnick (Warren); 6 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; brothers, Tommy Strickland and Bobby Strickland( Rejetta); sister, Barbara Berryman (Archie); brother-in-law, Gerald Cook; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Heber Uriah Bobo; daughter, Cathy Christine Woodruff; one great great grandchild; her parents, Lewis and Mattie Belle Strickland; brothers, Hoyt Strickland (Vowary), Travis Strickland (Katy), Dearl Strickland (Betty), Earl Strickland (Josephine) and Ellis Ray Strickland (Bonnie Sue); and her sisters, Nelda Cook and Verlon Calvery (Billy Harold).
