Funeral services for Juanita Elizabeth Spoon, 83 of Louisville, MS are set for 2pm Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at 1^st Pentecostal Church of Booneville with interment in Sumners Chapel Cemetery in Marietta, MS. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 3, 2023 from 12pm until service time at 1^st Pentecostal Church of Booneville. Rev. William Lambert and Rev. Larry Hill will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Preston Chase, Conlan Chase, Trey Samples, Isaiah Samples, Dylan Eaves and Gaylon Young. Born March 11, 1940 in Booneville, MS; Juanita passed away on Sunday, April 30, 2023 at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, MS. She was a retired factory worker and of the Pentecostal faith. She loved her family and friends and enjoyed spending time with them, working in her yard and flowers, and gardening and sewing. Juanita is survived by her sons, Freddy Chase of Iuka and Melvin Chase and wife Julie of Louisville, MS; daughter, Jamie Samples of Iuka; 5 grandchildren, Samuel Chase and wife Alyssa, Conlan Chase, Tameria Samples, Tabitha Samples and Matthew Taylor; 7 great grandchildren; brothers, Jimmy Young, James Young and wife, Ruth, and Dural Young all of Booneville; sisters, Dorothy McCoy of Booneville and Oleada Fair of Corinth; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Spoon; sons, Marshel Chase and Eddy Chase; parents, Erskin and Irene Reeves Young; and brothers, Ervin Young, Ellis Young and Gary Young.
