Kassie Dianne McGee

A celebration of life for Kassie Dianne McGee, 72, of Corinth, MS, is scheduled for 2:00 PM Friday, January 26, 2024, at Holly Baptist Church with interment in Nethery Cemetery. Bro. Trent Nethery, Jr. will officiate the service. Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM Friday, January 26, 2024, at Holly Baptist Church. Honorary pallbearers include Bro. Trent Nethery, Sr., Ladron Nethery, Bartley Nethery, Blake Nethery, Michael Farris, and Rory Dale Young, Jr. Dianne was born February 24, 1951, in Corinth, MS to the late Able and Dovie Hinton Nethery and passed away at her home Thursday, January 18, 2024. She was a homemaker and of the Christian faith. She loved spending time with her family and grandchildren. She enjoyed eating catfish, traveling, and cooking. 

            Those left to honor Dianne’s memory include her husband of 53 years, Wayne McGee; sons, Tim McGee and wife Kelley, and Bryan McGee and Misty; grandchildren, Emma Kate McGee, Gracie McGee, Abbigail McGee, Addilyne McGee, and Atticus McGee; sisters, Earline Cornelius and husband Kenneth, Patsy Cornelius and husband Travis; sister-in-law, Ann Nethery; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.

            In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Bro. Taft Nethery and wife Rosa Mae, and Larry Nethery.
