Kenneth Hopkins, 84, of Corinth, MS, passed away on Monday, August 3, 2020 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. He was born in McNairy County, TN on May 13, 1936 to the late Arlie and Mae Hopkins. He was a Veteran of the U S Air Force and was a member of Strickland Church of Christ. Kenneth’s passions were golf, fishing and working in his yard but his greatest love was his family. He will forever be remembered in the hearts of his family and friends. A private Celebration of Life service honoring Kenneth will be held for the immediate family at Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel of Memories on Thursday, August 6, 2020. Interment will follow in Valley of the Dogwood Cemetery. Magnolia Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements. Those left to honor Kenneth’s memory include his wife of 65 ½ years, Margaret Hopkins of Corinth; his sons, Mike Hopkins and wife Cindy, James Hopkins and wife Jennie, and Tracy Hopkins and wife Karen all of Corinth; 3 grandsons, Chris Hopkins, Channing Hopkins, and Hunter Hopkins; 7 granddaughters, Melinda Hopkins, Heather Hopkins, Amber Hopkins, Nicki Hopkins, Natalie Kelley, Brittanie Bowie, and Jessica Bain; 9 great grandchildren; his daughter-in-law, Patsy Hopkins of Corinth; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Greg Hopkins; his brother, Robert Hopkins, his sister, Elsie Erwin, and his granddaughter-in-law, Anita LeFay Hopkins.
