Larry Gene Holland

A Celebration of Life Service for Larry Gene Holland, 82 of Michie, TN, will be Friday, July 22, 2022 at 3:00 P M at Magnolia Funeral Home – East Chapel with interment to follow at Dogwood Cemetery.  Bro. Donnie Waldrop will officiate the service.  Visitation will be Friday, July 22, 2022 from 2:00 P M until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home – East.  Mr. Holland passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at Magnolia Regional Health Center.  He was born August 27, 1939 in Tishomingo County, MS to William Alfred Holland and Noma Williams Holland.  He was a butcher and of the Christian faith.  He loved raising English Bulldogs and playing canasta.  Larry is survived by his sons, Steve Holland and Terry Holland (Shirley); his daughter, Christy Holland; 1 grandchild; step son,  Perry Mask; step daughters, Darlene Bascomb (Ricky), Greta Lambert (Nyki), Connie Laird and Jenny Rider;  12 step grandchildren; 23 step great grandchildren; his sisters, Jane Dean and Joan Barnes; special friend, Martha Holland; other relatives and a host of friends.  He was preceded in death by his father, William Alfred Holland; his mother, Noma Williams Holland; his brothers-in-law, Jackie Dean and Larry Barnes; and 1 step grandchild.  Pallbearers will be Brian Barnes, Scott Barnes, Austin Barnes, Randy Holland, Justin Laird and Riley Darst.  Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mr. Larry Gene Holland.
