Larry Joe McAfee

A Celebration of Life Service for Larry Joe McAfee, 79 of Michie, TN, will be Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at 2:00 P M at Magnolia Funeral Home – East Chapel with interment to follow at Center Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Counce, TN.  Visitation will be Tuesday, December 6, 2022 from 12:00 P M until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home – East.  Mr. McAfee passed away Friday, December 2, 2022 at AHC- Savannah. Greg Woodruff will officiate the service.   He was born August 9, 1943 in Michie, TN to Ernest Eugene McAfee and Helen McGee McAfee.  He was a machine operator at ITT for 30+ years and was a member of Center Hill Baptist Church.  He loved farming and spending time with his family.  Larry is survived by his sons, Larry Joe McAfee, Jr. (Susan) and Chris McAfee (Stephanie); 3 grandchildren, Brandon McAfee, Colton McAfee (Julia) and Kelsey Cherry (Justice); his brothers, Eugene McAfee (Katherine) and David Wayne McAfee (Teresa); his sisters, Sinda Stutts (Ray), Mary Barnett and Carolyn Butler (J.L.); numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.  He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Gloria Ann McAfee; his granddaughter, Lauren Ashley McAfee; his father, Ernest McAfee and his mother, Helen McGee McAfee.  Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mr. Larry Joe McAfee.
