LEX JONES

Lex Jones, 33, unexpectedly passed away on May 3, 2023 at Bolivar General Hospital in Bolivar, TN. He was born in Corinth, MS, on March 30, 1990 to Walter Jones and Sherry Cummings Taylor. Lex was a devoted husband of 14 years to Anna "A.J" Jones and father to his son, Caleb Jones. He was also survived by his mother, Sherry Taylor; father, Walter Jones (Shea); brother, Blade Jones (Erica) ; sisters, Shelby Mills (Anderson) and Brooke Broussard (Jake) ; maternal grandmother, Nellie Modlin; paternal grandmother, Martha Jones; as well as numerous other family members and friends. Lex was preceded in death by his brother, Seth Taylor and his stepfather, Rick Taylor. 

Lex worked as a salesman for Essary Metalworks for five years. His colleagues remembered him as a hardworking individual who always went above and beyond for his customers. Lex enjoyed helping others, which carried over into his personal life as well. In his free time, Lex loved collecting arrowheads. He often shared stories about his favorite finds with family and friends. Those closest to Lex will always remember the time they spent together with family and the love they shared. His family adored the way he always put everyone first in everything he did, and found comfort in knowing how much he loved them. His family and friends will forever miss a beloved husband, father, son, brother, coworker and friend and recall the precious memories they made together.

Visitation will be held at Magnolia Funeral Home - East on May 7th from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The funeral service will be held at Magnolia Funeral Home - East on May 8th at 11:00 AM officiated by Bro. Darrell Moffett.  Interment will follow at Jones Cove in Booneville, MS. Pallbearers include Mike Blunt, Anderson Mills, Wyatt Carroll, Jake Broussard, Bob Slaughter, and Blade Jones.

Lex's passing came as an unexpected shock to those who knew him best, but he will never be forgotten by those whose lives he touched with his kind nature and compassion within his brief life journey. Online condolences may be expressed at magnoliafuneralhome.net.
