Linda Sue Choate

A Celebration of Life service for Linda Sue Choate, 74 of Corinth, MS, will be Saturday, January 29, 2022 at 11:00 A M at Magnolia Funeral Home – East Chapel with interment to follow at Magnolia Gardens. Minister Ronald Choate will officiate the service. Visitation will be Friday, January 28, 2022 from 5:00 P M to 8:00 P M and Saturday, January 29, 2022 from 10:00 A M until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home – East. Mrs. Choate passed away Monday, January 24, 2022 at Sanctuary Hospice in Tupelo, MS. She was born November 5, 1947 in Corinth, MS to Jess Baswell and Sybill Jones Baswell. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed fishing, watching her soap operas and loved her pets. Mrs. Choate is survived by her son, Bobby Wayne Choate (Kristy); her daughter, Effie Kelly Choate; 2 grandchildren, Christina Choate and Rachel Choate; 2 great grandchildren, Anna Choate and Brandon Glidewell; her brothers, Stevie Baswell, Raymond Baswell and Donald Baswell (Debbie); her sister, Mandy Bullock (Larry); numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Gene Choate; her father, Jess Baswell; her mother, Sybill Jones Baswell and her brother, David Baswell. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mrs. Linda Sue Choate.
