Linda Jean Isbell, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 12, 2026, in Corinth, Mississippi. Born on August 28, 1953, in Chicago, Illinois, Linda dedicated much of her life to hard work and family, leaving behind a legacy of love and devotion that touched all who knew her.
Linda’s career as a factory worker showcased her strong work ethic and resilience. After retiring, she cherished the time she spent pursuing her greatest joy—her family. She was especially fond of going to the dirt track to watch her son race, an activity that brought her immense happiness and pride. Her love for her family was the cornerstone of her life, and she was known among relatives and friends for her warm heart and nurturing spirit.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 53 years, Jimmy Isbell, who stood by her side through all of life’s moments. Linda’s children, Steven Isbell and his wife Beth, and Crystal Carlisle and her husband Delbert, continue to honor her memory. Her grandchildren—Kerrie Delk and Samantha, Christian St. John and Justin, Phillip Delk, Cody Delk and Clair, William Isabell and Brandy, Stephanie Isbell, Heaven Yates, Logan Isbell, and Austin Yager; 21 great-grandchildren; her brother, Larry Kendricks and his wife Tonya, as well as her sister, Donna Wilks and her husband Jerry; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.
While Linda’s spirit lives on in those who cherish her, she was preceded in death by her son, Jimmy Delk: great-grandchild, Teagan Delk: her parents, Burns and Marjean Kendricks and her brothers, Neal and James Kendricks. Their memories remain woven into the fabric of her story and the love that surrounds her family.

Her passing leaves a profound space in the hearts of those who knew her, yet her legacy of warmth, perseverance, and love will forever remain a guiding light.
