Linda King

Linda King, 76, of Corinth, MS passed away at her daughters residence on Thursday, June 6, 2024. She was born in Prentiss County, MS on July 4, 1947 to the late E. C. Mask and Ruby Mask and was employed with World Color for many years. In later years, Linda worked at Martha’s Menu where she was known to everyone as Granny. She was a member of South Corinth Baptist Church and will forever be missed by those who loved her. Visitation is scheduled Monday, June 10, 2024 from 5-8 PM  at Magnolia Funeral Home - East. A Celebration of Life Service for Linda will be Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at 2 PM at Magnolia Funeral Home - East Chapel officiated by Bro. Ron Mitchell and Bro. Charles Stephenson. Interment will follow in Pisgah Cemetery. Pallbearers include Chris Barnes, Rick Briggs, Chris Briggs, Stephen Grimes, Brayden Grimes. Magnolia Funeral Home - East is entrusted with the local arrangements. Those left to honor Linda’s memory include her sons, Anthony Studdard (Johnnie Lynn) and Clay King (Megan); her daughter, Marilyn Barkley (Blake); her grandchildren, Ashley, Selina, Chris, Coy, Brittany, Caitlyn, and Sadie; 13 great grandchildren; her brother, Tom Mask (Tina); her sister, Debbie Johnson; other relatives, and a host of friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Marcus King; her sisters, Teresa Beckner and Brenda Mauney; and her grandchildren, Logan Parker and Mathew Barnes.
