Loyd Edwin Ray, Jr., 39 of Michie, TN, passed away June 5, 2026 at Regional One in Memphis, TN. A Memorial Visitation will be held Monday, June 22, 2026 from 5:00 P M to 8:00 P M at Magnolia Funeral Home – East. Mr. Ray was born May 4, 1987 in Eupora, MS to Loyd Edwin Ray, Sr. and Pamela L. Swindoll Ray. Loyd loved preaching, singing, making people laugh and he memorized every word of the book of James. He loved his family and his children and was always trying to help people. Loyd is survived by his mother, Pam Ray; his son Loyd Edwin Ray III “Tray”; his daughters, Janie Ray and Emma Ray; his brothers, Daniel Swindoll (Charlotte), Mickeal Swindoll, Joe Ray, Michael Ray and Christopher Ray; his sisters, Samantha Clifton (James), Melinda Ray and Melessa Dunagin; his favorite cousin, Heather Bottoms; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
