Funeral services for Marie Bowen, 88 of Guys, TN are set for 11am on Tuesday, June 23, 2026 at Magnolia Funeral Home - East with interment in New Hope Cemetery in Guys, TN. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 23, 2026 from 9am -11am at Magnolia Funeral Home - East. Bro. Ben Martin will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Jacob Bowles, Joe Booker, John Pierce, Josh Bowen, Lane Dean and Todd Bowen. Born May 9, 1938 in Corinth, MS to the late Sam and Myrtle Jackson Dalton, Mrs. Bowen passed from this life on Friday, June 19, 2026 at her son's home in Adamsville, TN.  She was a member of New Hope Methodist Church . Marie worked at various jobs including ITT and Kimberly Clark before retiring from Kroger where she worked as a Deli Assistant. She loved her family and spending time with them brought her immense joy. She enjoyed fishing and working in her flowers. Her family will forever cherish her strong will and unwavering independence. Marie is survived by her sons, Ronnie Bowen (Sarah) and Rickey Bowen (Cathy); 7 grandchildren, Misty Pierce (John), Holley Vatalaro. Brooke Qualls (Tyler), Bradley Bowen (Ashley), Jennifer Shchyschuk (Lamar Victory), Mica Tinsley (Cary King) and Jordan Tinnsley (Keisha); 13 great grandchildren, Henry Pierce, Kalee Vatalaro (Jacob Bowles), Alyssa Shchyschuk, Ty Shchyschuk (Macy Crum), Ainslee Shchyschuk, Lilly Bowen, Layla Bowen, Jovee Qualls, Bowen Qualls, Kinley Wilson, Hunter Strickland, Charlie Tinsley and Hadley-Ann Tinsley; a great great granddaughter, Alice Shchyschuk; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 67 years, Delbert Bowen; daughter, Debra Bowen; brothers, James Dalton and Emmett Dalton; and her sisters, Frances Rorie and Christine Gibbs.
