Marvin Eugene Derrick, 80 of Corinth passed from this life on Friday, April 25, 2026  at his home. Born November 12, 1945 in Corinth to the late Frank and Orina Barnes Derrick, Marvin was a retired landfill operator for Alcorn County, MS . There are NO services scheduled. He enjoyed fishing, working on cars, watching westerns and being outside. Marvin is survived by his son, Phillip Derrick (Lisa); granddaughter, Taylor Hanley (Clark); great grandchild, Carter Hanley; brother, Jerry Derrick; sister, Peggy Gray; other relatives and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by father, Frank Derrick; mother, Orina Derrick; companion, Carolyn Hall; brothers, Billy Derrick and Danny Derick and his sisters, Alice Easley, Sue McAnally and Joann Derrick.
