A celebration of life service for Mary Jane Burcham, 5 years old, of Rienzi, MS is scheduled for 11:00 AM Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Greater Life United Pentecostal Church. Bro. Joseph Burcham and Bro. Tommy Callahan will officiate the service. The family will welcome extended family and friends to join them at visitation from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM Saturday, March 21, 2026, at Greater Life United Pentecostal Church. Per the family’s request, please wear colorful or Bluey themed clothing in honor of Mary Jane.

There are some children whose light is so bright, so joyful, so unmistakably theirs, that even a short time on this earth leaves a lifetime of love behind. Mary Jane was one of those rare, radiant spirits.

She was born November 22, 2020, in Corinth, MS to Chaz and Hailey Burcham and she was welcomed into Heaven Sunday, March 15, 2026. Mary Jane filled her family’s world with color, laughter, and motion from the very beginning. She was endlessly energetic—always ready to run, explore, and discover something new. If her Papa was home, she’d walk down the hill just to see him, her little feet carrying her with purpose and excitement. She adored her grandma just as fiercely, especially when she needed someone to take her side or give in to her requests. She enjoyed watching Bluey marathons, Fancy Nancy twirls, K‑pop Demon Hunters adventures, and creating irreplaceable memories with her Jojo while visiting the monkeys at the zoo. She loved her cats and dogs with the same big-hearted affection she gave to everyone around her. Her smile was contagious and she always had a way of making people feel chosen, special, and loved. Her favorite phrases, “I missed you all day” and “You are my favorite,” were spoken with such sincerity that they wrapped themselves around your heart and stayed there. She was incredibly excited to start kindergarten. She talked about it with pride, anticipation, and that spark in her eyes that made you believe she was ready to take on the whole world. She loved making people smile, and she did it effortlessly—through her words, her hugs, her laughter, and her beautiful, boundless spirit. Mary Jane was deeply loved, thoroughly spoiled, and cherished by so many. And she gave that love right back, in ways only she could.

Those left to honor her memory include her parents, Chaz and Hailey Burcham, paternal grandfather, Thomas Burcham, Sr.; paternal grandmother, Stephanie Stewart; maternal grandmother, Amanda Gould; great grandparents, Kerry and Joye Burcham; Aunts and Uncles, Austin Burcham (Samantha), TJ Burcham (Misty), Jordan Burcham (Beau), Amber Tracy (TJ), and Nick Middleton; a host of cousins and extended family.

Though her time here was heartbreakingly brief, her impact was immeasurable. She leaves behind memories that will forever shine—bright, warm, and full of the joy she carried so naturally.

Her light remains. Her love remains. And she will always, always be the favorite.
