Mike Mills

Mike Mills, 71 of Corinth, passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2024 at his home. Visitation will be Sunday, January 14, 2024 from 5pm-8pm at Magnolia Funeral Home - EAST. WEATHER PERMITTING there will be a graveside service on Monday, January 15, 2024 at 2pm at Dogwood Cemetery. He was born November 20, 1952 in Corinth, MS to the late Sammy D. and Viola Whirley Mills. Mike was a member of Pinecrest Baptist Church. He was a business owner, owning several restaurants. Mike loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren and enjoyed camping, spending time outside and being in the restaurant business so he could socialize. He was an avid animal lover and loved his fur babies unconditionally. Mike is survived by his wife of 39 years, Susan Parsons Mills; daughters, Brandy Mathis and Holly Smith; 2 grandchildren, Mason Mathis (Raven) and Kamden Barnett; 4 great grandchildren, Piper Mathis, Amory Mathis, Gemma Mathis and Kohen Mathis; niece, Paula Green and husband Anthony and their children, Sommer Austin and Riley Austin; other relatives and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Sammy D. Mills; mother, Viola Whirley Mills; brother, Paul Wayne Mills and his sister, Nancy Rickman. Pallbearers will be Mason Mathis, Kamden Barnett, Billy Ray Jackson, Gavin McNair, Barry Mills and Reggie Eaton. Honorary pallbearers will be his very special friends, Tim Floyd and Jerry Graham; Mills Steak and Fish Employees, Nicky Mascio, Chris Wilson, Kristy Wilbanks, Sparky, Marvin, Holly Shannon and Jo Counce.
