Funeral services for Mildred Louise Roseberry, 80 of Walnut are set for 11am Wednesday, October 29, 2025 at Hatchie Chapel Church with interment in Hatchie Chapel Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 28, 2025 from 5pm-8pm and Wednesday, October 29, 2025 from 10am until service time at Hatchie Chapel Church. Bro. Ronnie Mercer and Bro. Ronald Wilbanks will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Joseph Mercer, Scott Mercer, Caden Mercer, Austin Thornton, Shane Spencer and Deion Mercer; Honorary pallbearers will be Junior Russell, Robert Johnson, Glen Miles, Shane Bayless, Bobby Mullins, Jansen Mercer and Henry Mercer. Born April 21, 1945 in Corinth, MS., Mrs. Roseberry passed from this life on Friday, October 24, 2025 at her home in Walnut. She has been a member of Hatchie Chapel Church for 58 years. Mildred loved her family and spending time with them. She also loved going to church. Mildred is survived by her daughters, Teresa Mercer (Bro. Ronald) and Tammy Thornton (Patrick); 4 grandchildren, Joseph Mercer (Kayla), Scott Mercer (Kayla), Austin Thornton (Kristen) and Sarah Thornton; 10 great grandchildren, Kandis Minor, Caden Mercer, Keeley Mercer, Jersey Barker, Jansen Mercer, Henry Mercer, Charlie Jo Mercer, Ruby James Mercer, Samuel Thornton and Jesse Thornton; other relatives and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" Roseberry; father, Alva Lee Sharp; mother, Helen Hortense Spencer Sharp; brothers, Robert Sharp and Billy Sharp; and her sister, Sadie Smith.
