Myra Fay Evetts

Private family graveside services for Myra Fay Evetts, 73, of Corinth are set for Sunday. Bro. Shane Evetts will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Luke Evetts, Nick Miller, Levi Conaway, Kennan Conaway, Jerry Miller and Leonard Evetts. Born March 12, 1949 in Tishomingo County, MS., Mrs. Evetts passed away on Friday, May 20, 2022 at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth. She is of the Baptist and a member of Wheeler Grove Baptist Church. She worked at ITT and ACT for 25 years before retiring and became a homemaker. Myra loved her family and friends and enjoyed listening to music, especially the oldies, working in her yard and flowers, cooking and sewing. Myra is survived by her sons, Leonard Evetts (Mary Lee) and Shane Evetts; daughters, Bridget Conaway (Kennan) and Michelle Miller (Jerry); 7 grandchildren, Nick Miller (Laura), Cassie Brentner (Jack), Levi Conaway, Kyle Conaway, Annabelle Conaway, Luke Evetts and Emilie Evetts; 8 great grandchildren; brother, Lannie Harris; sister, Judy Mattera; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Scottie O’Neal Evetts; daughter-in-law, Sagee Evetts; father, Cecil Marvin Harris; mother, Billie Faye Whitaker Harris, brother, Larry Harris; and her grandparents, Claude and Nancy Whitaker and Marvin and Ludie Mae Harris.
