Peter (Pete) David Wood

A Celebration of Life Service for Pete Wood, 58 of Corinth, MS, will be Sunday, October 5, 2025 at 3:00 P M at Magnolia Funeral Home – East Chapel. Bro. Warren Jones will officiate the service. Visitation will be Sunday, October 5, 2025 from 1:00 P M until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home- East. Mr. Wood passed away Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at his residence. He was born May 1, 1967 in Boston, MA to David Wood and Frances Merscano Wood. He loved fishing, carpentry and arrowhead hunting. Pete is survived by his wife of 21 years Laura Wood; his son, Michael Wood; his sister, Debra Block (Chuck); his niece and nephew, Jennifer Block and Keith Block; other relatives and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his father, David Wood and his mother, Frances Merscano Wood. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mr. Pete Wood.
