Funeral services for Rachel George, 76 of Iuka are set for 2pm on Thursday, November 6, 2025 at Magnolia Funeral Home-East Chapel with interment in Prospect Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, November 6, 2025 from 12pm-2pm at Magnolia Funeral Home - East Chapel. Bro. Brett McKee will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Randy Mincy, Keegan Mincy, Brandy Easley, Jasa Gilbert, Diego George, Melissa Easley and Lisa Mincy. Born February 25, 1949 in Rensselaer, Indiana, Mrs. George passed away on November 2, 2025 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, MS. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Rachel loved her family and spending time with them especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren brought her immense joy. She enjoyed cooking and baking, gardening (she always had a green thumb), working crossword puzzles, playing games and decorating her home. She was an animal lover and taking care of her dog, Sissy was always a top priority for her. Rachel is survived by her daughters, Lisa Mincy (Randy) and Melissa Easley (Brandy); 6 grandchildren, Kirstin Gilbert (Jasa), Diego George, Kallah George, Madeline Marcum (Mario Sorto), Keegan Mincy and Keelee Mincy; 9 great grandchildren, Everly Rose Burks, Braelynn Gilbert, Micah Gilbert, Jordan Idehen, Major Parker, Alejandro Sorto, Lina Sorto, Viviana Sorto and Aljandra Sorto; sister, Juanita Denham; sister-in-law, Sandy Howard; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends; She is preceded in death by her son, Travis George, father, Grover Howard; mother, Maultee Howard; brothers, Alex Howard, Grover Howard, Jr., Amiel Howard, Steve Howard and 2 infant brothers.
