Ricky Lynn Peters

Ricky Lynn Peters, born on March 3, 1960, in Corinth, MS, passed away on July 18, 2026, in his hometown of Corinth. Throughout his 66 years, Ricky was known for his steadfast presence and unwavering commitment to those around him. A Service for Ricky has not been scheduled at this time with burial in Dogwood Cemetery. 

Ricky’s life was deeply rooted in the Corinth community where he was born and where he ultimately said his goodbyes. He contributed his talents and dedication to the Alcorn County Supervisors, taking pride in the work he did and the service he provided. His professional life reflected his sense of responsibility and devotion to his neighbors and friends throughout the years.

Family was always an important part of Ricky’s life. He is survived by his brother, Dale Peters, who shared many memories with Ricky through the years and sister Diane Look.  Ricky was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Sylvester and Peggy Peters, whose guidance and love helped shape the person he became.

Ricky Lynn Peters will be remembered by all who knew him as a steady, compassionate, and hardworking individual. His memory will continue to be honored by his family and the community he served so diligently. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Ricky Peters.
