A Gathering of family and friends for Robert Gray, Jr. is set for Monday, July 6, 2026 from 5pm-7pm at Magnolia Funeral Home- East.  Born September 18, 1964 in Corinth, Robert passed from this life on July 1, 2026 at his home in Corinth. He was a retired roofer and of the Christian faith. Robert had a deep love for sports, both as a player and a fan. He played football and basketball during his school years and enjoyed attending and watching all types of sporting events throughout his life. He was a 1984 graduate of Alcorn Central High School. Listening to music and being with his friends brought his immense joy. After high school, he dedicated himself to powerlifting, embracing the sport with determination and passion. Robert is survived by his brother, Randy Gray; aunt, June Gray Murphy; uncle, Ronnie Gray (Ellen); girlfriend, Jane Bright; special friends, Mr. and Mrs. Chris Essary and Mr. and Mrs. Lee Perkins; other relatives and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Grant Gray, Sr. and his mother, Glenda James Gray. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mr. Robert Gray, Jr.
