Funeral services for Ruby Hardin, 77, of Glen, MS are set for Friday, October 27, 2023 at 2pm at Magnolia Funeral Home -EAST with interment in Antioch Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation is Thursday, October 26, 2023 from 5pm-8pm and Friday, October 27, 2023 from 1pm-2pm at Magnolia Funeral Home - EAST. Bro. Billy Powers will officiate. Pallbearers will be Kevin Lambert, Davis Hardin, Reece Hardin, Dylan Hicks, Peyton Hicks and Michael Paul Powers. Born December 13, 1945 in Corinth, MS to James Love "Roy" Powers and Letha Grissom Powers, Ruby passed away on Monday, October 23, 2023 at her home in Glen. She was a homemaker and of the Christian faith. She loved her family and friends and enjoyed cooking, sewing, singing and taking care of the kids. Ruby is survived by her husband of 61 years, Benny Hardin; son, Waylon Hardin and wife Jaime; daughter, Carol Mathis; 5 grandchildren, Kristy Lambert, Kevin Lambert, Reece Hardin, Davis Hardin and Kennedy Hardin; 4 great grandchildren, MeKayla Rorie, Hailey Marsh, Emily Marsh and Jackson Lambert; brothers, Charles Powers and wife Yadira, Bro. Billy Powers and Wayne Powers; sisters, Bonnie Sue Petrie and husband Charles and Glenda Belue and husband Jackie; sisters-in-law, Lori Powers and Racean Powers; other relatives and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Peggy Hardin; great grandchild, Brice Rorie; father, Roy Powers; mother, Letha Powers; brothers, Jimmy Powers and Leon Powers and her sister-in-law, Faye Powers.
