Sammy Evetts

Sammy Clayton Evetts, lifelong resident of Corinth, MS, passed away at age 59 at the Magnolia Regional Health Center. Sammy was born on December 16, 1965 and was an avid motorcycle enthusiast. He was a roofer and a carpenter; a handyman and “Jack of all trades”. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and loved his family very deeply. Sammy was preceded in death by his mother, Jane Evetts; his father, Clayton Evetts; and his daughter, Samantha Evetts. Sammy leaves behind a partner of 35 years, Loretta Evetts; a daughter, Katie Evetts; a son, Clay Evetts (wife-Amanda Evetts); grandchildren Andrew Evetts, Parker Evetts, and Sami Kate Gofourth; a brother, Tony Evetts, and several other family members and friends. A private family gathering and ceremony in honor and remembrance of Sammy will be held at Magnolia Funeral Home - East.
