A Celebration of Life service for Sharon Ann Wood, 78 of Southaven, MS will be Saturday, August 14, 2021 at 2:00 P M at Magnolia Funeral Home South Chapel with interment to follow at Magnolia Gardens. Larry Babcock will officiate the service. Visitation will be Saturday, August 14, 2021 from 12:00 noon until service time at Magnolia Funeral Home – South. Mrs. Wood passed away Monday, August 9, 2021 at Baptist Desoto Hospital. She was born July 15, 1943 in Tupelo, MS to G.W. Barnes and Josie Ivy Barnes. She graduated from Corinth High School in 1961 and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She retired as a registered nurse at Magnolia Regional Health Center after 33 years of service. Sharon is survived by her daughters, Donna McFalls of Southaven, MS and Nikki Brisendine (Duane) of Olive Branch, MS; 2 grandchildren, Jase Whitehead and Shelby Brisendine; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her father, G.W....
