Susan Coleman, 69, of Corinth, MS, passed away June 7, 2025 at her residence. She was born on June 18, 1955 to the late Rubert and Virla Birdwell Ellington and worked in the medical field as an LPN. Susan found peace and fulfillment in her garden, in planting flowers and delighted in preparing meals that brought everyone together around the dinner table, where stories were shared, and bonds were deepened. Cooking was not just a task for her, it was her way of expressing love, and creating memories. Known for her unwavering love and devotion, Susan poured her heart into being a mother and a grandmother, cherishing every moment spent with her family. Her life was a testament to the joys that come from nurturing and supporting those she loved the most. Susan is survived by her son, Price Coleman (Hannah); her daughters, Amy Sanders (Cole), Lindsay Degani (Anthony), and Lauren Ferrell (Ben); her grandchildren, Will, Elizabeth, Lewis, and Scottie; her brothers, Robert Ellington and Ben Ellington (Debbie); her sisters, Mary Varner (Brent) and Penney Turner (Rickey); several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Graveside services are scheduled for Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at 1 PM at New Hope Church Cemetery in Yuma, TN officiated by Anthony Degani. Pallbearers include Greg Massengill, Price Coleman, Ben Ellington, Ben Ferrell, Robert Ellington, and Cole Sanders. Magnolia Funeral Home is honored to care for the family of Susan Coleman.
