Funeral services for Terry W. Scott, Sr., 66, of Corinth, MS are set for 2pm Saturday, August 1, 2026, at Magnolia Funeral Home - East. Visitation will be Friday, July 31, 2026, from 5pm-8pm and Saturday, August 1, 2026, from 1pm-2pm at Magnolia Funeral Home - East. Bro. Jimmy Ray Kennedy will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Bo Scott, Chris Scott, Levi Scott, Nathaniel Burcham, Austin Scott, Gerald Curry and Preston Sheppard. Born October 20, 1959, in Kenosha , WI., Mr. Scott passed from this life on Friday, July 24, 2026, at Magnolia Regional Health Center in Corinth. He was a retired boiler operator for World Color and of the Christian faith. Terry cherished his family deeply, finding joy in every moment spent with them, especially his  grandchildren. He enjoyed watching classic comedy shows and cartoons and spending time with his loyal companion, Sunny. He was an avid Alanta Braves fan.  Terry is survived by his wife of 47 years, Jean Curry Scottt; sons, Bo Scott (Kathy) and Chris "Turtle" Scott; 2 grandchildren, Marlee Morgan (Preston Sheppard) and Zyla Scott; 2 step grandchildren, Ethan Marks and Luca Marks; great granddaughter, Miriam Sheppard and a great grandbaby on the way; brother, Tommy Scott; sister, Brenda Maxey (Bobby); mother-in-law, Betty Curry McCalla; brothers-in-law: Gerald Curry (Judy) and Greg Curry (Donna); special aunt: Sherry Scott; special niece, Ella Grace Scott; numerous other nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his father, William Scott; mother, Dale "Red Top" Scott; and his brothers, Joey Scott and William "Bug" Scott, Jr. In lieu of flowers memorial donation may be made to a charity of your choice or Le Bonheur Children's Hospital.
