Travis E. Armstrong

Funeral services for Travis E. Armstrong , 84 of Corinth are set for Monday, June 23, 2025 at 3pm at Magnolia Funeral Home - South Chapel on HWY 45 South with interment in Wheeler Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, June 23, 2025 from 1pm-3pm at Magnolia Funeral Home - South Chapel on HWY 45 South. Bro. Josh Westmoreland will officiate the service with Adam Fowler delivering the eulogy. Pallbearers will be Branson Tennyson, Nick Fowler, Zack Fowler, Chris Fowler, Jameson Tennyson, Brandon Ralph and Jon Mark Daily. He was born February 21, 1941, in Alcorn County to Roy and Nellen Bradley Armstrong and passed from this life on June 21, 2025 at his home in Corinth. He retired from Dana Corporation with 35 years of service. Travis was a longtime member of Calvary Baptist Church. He was Past Master of Corinth Lodge #116 F&AM and served fifteen years as secretary. He was also a past Patron of Corinth Chapter #27 OES, a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason and a Shriner. Travis enjoyed reading and playing dominoes, as well as discussing politics and the Bradley family genealogy.  He is survived by his daughters, Paula Fowler (Adam) and Laura Tennyson (James); grandchildren, Branson Tennyson (Breeze), Nick Fowler, Kim Ralph (Brandon), Zack Fowler, Chris Fowler (Victoria), Callie Daily (Jon Mark), and Jameson Tennyson (Brittney); great granddaughters, Amelia Tennyson and Collins Daily; sisters, Linda Winters (Bill) and Norma McNeil (Kerney) and  sister-in-law, Teresa Wilbanks.  In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Evon Brawner Armstrong; daughter, Pamela Kay Armstrong; sister and brother-in-law, Peggy and Billy Taylor; in laws, Mody and Aileen Brawner; brother-in-law, Jerry Brawner and step father, Bill Fullwood. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mr. Travis E. Armstrong.
