Vel Gosa

Vel Gosa, 56 of Rienzi, MS passed away Thursday, January 22, 2026 at her residence. No services are planned at this time. Mrs. Gosa was born July 28, 1969 in Atlanta, GA to Jimmy and Mary Emerson Skinner. She was a cashier at B & J Supermarket and was of the Baptist faith. She loved bass fishing, shopping and spending time with her family, especially her children. Vel is survived by her husband of 23 years, Ricky Gosa; her sons, Mickey Braddock, David Braddock and Ricky Gosa (Addy Sperling); her daughter, Cheyenne Haisch (Daniel); 10 grandchildre, Jordan Dixon, Caytee Dixon, Konner Dixon, Annabell Dixon, Makalah Braddock, Jamie Braddock, Jordyn Braddock, Mason Braddock, Jeremiah Braddock and Ricki Ann Gosa; other relatives and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jimmy and Mary Emerson Skinner and her brother, Mickey Skinner. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mrs. Vel Gosa.
