Wanda Fay Mitchell

Funeral services for Wanda Fay Mitchell, 65, of Rienzi are set for Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at 2pm at Biggersville 1st Baptist Church with interment in Magnolia Gardens. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 14, 2021 from 5pm - 9pm and Wednesday, December 15, 2021 from 12pm until service time at Biggersville 1st Baptist Church. Rev. Jamie Basden and Rev. Tracy Stafford will officiate the service. Serving as pallbearers will be Bud Brecheen, Carson Mitchell, Bryson Mitchell, Cody Mitchell, Scotty Mitchell and Tyler Mitchell. Born September 22, 1956 in Booneville, MS., Wanda passed away on Friday, December 10, 2021 at her home in Rienzi. She was the manager at AB Quickstop and of the Chrisitan faith. Wanda is survived by her husband David "Jody" Mitchell; sons, Shane Mitchell and Scotty Mitchell; daughters, Kristy Mitchell; 8 grandchildren, Keiley Hughes, Jaycee Hughes, Cody Mitchell, Tyler Mitchell, Carson Mitchell, Taylor Mitchell, Bryson Mitchell and Hunter Mitchell; her twin sister, Martha "Mossie" Brecheen (Bud) ; brother-in-law, Ted Ross; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Thomas David Johnson; mother, Gladys Whitaker Johnson; brother, Tim Johnson and sisters, Betty Basden and Kay Ross.
