Graveside services for Wanda Muchmore, 77, of Corinth, MS are set for Friday, May 8, 2026, at 11am at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery. Bro. Jon Haimes will officiate the service. Born November 4, 1948, in Jackson, TN, Mrs. Muchmore passed from this life on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at MS Care Center. She was a homemaker after working at Wurlitzer and ITT and was of the Baptist faith. She loved life in the sunshine and found joy wherever the day led her—whether out on the water, enjoying the outdoors, or simply being surrounded by people. A true social butterfly, she never met a stranger and had a gift for making everyone feel like an old friend. Her favorite color was pink, a fitting reflection of her bright spirit and warm heart. She was also an avid fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide, and few things made her happier than cheering them on. Her laughter, friendliness, and love for life left a lasting impression on all who knew her.Wanda is survived by her children, Cindy Essary (Craig), Brian Phelps (Lisa), and Kristy Choate (Bobby); her grandchildren, Kaleb Ligon, Callie Greenlee (Michael), Jacob Essary, Carlie Kelley (Kyle), and Rachel Choate; 13 great grandchildren; her brother, Billy Wayne Byrum; her sister, Gail Bennett; other relatives and a host of friends.
