Funeral services for Wayne Meeks, 75 of Corinth are set for Monday, June 30, 2025 at 2pm at Magnolia Funeral Home - East Chapel with interment in Rock Hill Pentecostal Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, June 29, 2025 from 5pm-8pm and Monday, June 30, 2025 from 12pm- 2pm at Magnolia Funeral Home - East Chapel. Bro. Gary Porterfield will officiate the service with Gloria Long delivering the eulogy. Born September 24, 1949 in Corinth, Mr. Meeks passed from this life on June 25, 2025 at his sister's home in Corinth. He was a member of Zion Pentecostal Church. He was a retired auto body mechanic. Wayne loved his family and friends, especially his grandson and spending time with them. Taking care of his dog, BB was his passion. He enjoyed watching Big Bang Theory and Inside Edition, going to Tunica, and working on cars and trucks. His door was always open because he was a people person and loved to entertain his family and friends. Wayne is survived by his son, Greg Meeks; grandson, Phillip Meeks; sister, Gloria Long; brothers, Larry Meeks (Juanita), Freddy Barnes (Gina) and Frankie Barnes; a special friend, CeCe Merrit; close cousin, Jackie Dildy (Anita); several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Bob Meeks; mother, Edith Meeks Barnes; and his brothers, Ronnie Meeks and Tim Meeks. Pallbearers will be Phillip Meeks, Matt Rickman, Alan Young, Connor Woodruff, Brandon Woodruff and Collin Dildy. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mr. Wayne Meeks.
