Willie Hugh Smith

Willie Smith, 75 of Corinth, MS, passed away Monday, August 3, 2020 at Magnolia Regional Health Center. Graveside service will be Friday, August 7, 2020. Bro. Mike Lee will officiate the service. Visitation will be Thursday, August 6, 2020 from 5:00 P M to 8:00 P M at Magnolia Funeral Home. Interment will be at Oak Grove Cemetery in Pocahontas, TN. He was born January 2, 1945 in Pocahontas, TN to Willie B. Smith and Beatrice Butler Smith. He was a retired factory worker at World Color in Corinth, MS. He was of the Pentecostal faith and was a member of Oak Grove Church in Pocohontas, TN. Willie is survived by his daughter, Jolene Haygood of Walnut, MS; 4 grandchildren, Christina Hughes, Dillon Haygood, Daylee Haygood and Brodie Haygood; 1 great grandson, Gunner Haygood; his sisters, Marie Jackson of Pocahontas, TN and Ann Shearon of Pocahontas, TN; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Cherri Smith; his daughter, Rebecca Butler; his father, Willie B. Smith; his mother, Beatrice Butler Smith and his brother, Johnny Smith. Pallbearers will be Brodie Haygood, Dillon Haygood, Daniel Hicks and Stanley Jeanes, Jr. Magnolia Funeral Home has been honored to serve the family of Mr. Willie Smith.
